Band plays on subway with only iPhones for instruments

Don't want to lug all your gear onto the train before a show? Why not leave the drum kit, the guitars, the keyboards, even the microphones in your Mom's garage and use the instrument in your pocket. Check out the band "Atomic Tom" jamming on the Subway playing their iPhones! As a frequent mass transit rider, I have to ask myself though, would this be really awesome or really annoying if I was on that train?

This is amazing. Kudos to Atomic Tom for their ingenuity after losing their instruments. I was really surprised at the quality of sound. Along with the ability to stay connected to family living far away, here is another plus for technology. I love my iPhone!

Why does this seem more like an apple commercial than buzz for the band? Do people realize there ARE other smartphones that have instrument apps.........the whole band just happened to have the exact same phone?

Well, it is an awesome phone. Ironically, every camera was also an iPhone. If you unintentionally give a product some exposure in exchange for increasing your own popularity, isn't it worth it? These guys definitely deserve all the attention they get for this.
