This salute is from Robin Gregory to her son PFC Aaron William Oxenford who is with the Army Infantry and deployed to Al-Nasiriyah, Iraq.

Aaron has been in Iraq since May, and was unable to celebrate his first anniversary with his new wife Danielle Oxenford. They were married a year on 8/20/2009 (which was also his Grandmother Carol Smale's birthday).

Aaron has one sister (Kelly Gregory) and two brothers (Kyle Gregory and Jonathan Oxenford).

Aaron is a 2004 graduate of Southern Lehigh High School. Aaron is an avid musician, and plays many different instruments. Aaron is an animal lover and is being missed by his beloved dog Curtis. Aaron will be celebrating his 24th birthday this Halloween.

Be safe, know that we love you, we're all proud of you, and our best wishes for a happy birthday!

Thanks for serving! My father served 30+ years and we enjoyed all of the adventures of being a military family.

I thought I would share this: 101 Ways to Thank A Veteran: http://militaryblog.militaryavenue.com/2009/11/101-ways-to-thank-veteran.html

Morning...I have been watching this morning and seen Rafer discuss the Sacramento Kings having a $1.00 Beer-Soda-Water night... I laughed because it made me remember when the Cleveland Indians hosted the Texas Rangers at the old Cleveland Stadium back in the late 70's and the Indians had a nickel beer nite...long story short, the Indians ended up forefiting the game because the fans were throwing everything they could on to the field when the Rangers took to the field.

johnl sullivan   December 11th, 2009 1:39 pm ET

I think its time to leave the tiger woods scandal alone. He made a mistake, wow, who isn't perfect. I am sure he feels sorry for what he has done,And its time to forgive

Pat from Texas   December 12th, 2009 1:04 am ET

Robin, I have really enjoyed watching you in the mornings for quite a while because you seem to be very down to earth. However, on more than one occassion, I have heard you refer to President Obama as "Mr. Obama". Please stop doing that because you are being very disrespectful to our President when you do that. I stopped watching FOX News long ago because of their biased reporting. Thanks! Your being watched my friend.

I'm not sure where to make this comment exactly, but we feel strongly about the intro/commercial song "Every morning "You get me started" PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE bring in another song! We love Robin! - Hate the song!!! Its old and irritating way too repetitious and raunchy for someone so beautiful and classy. THANK YOU!

Now that I'm freezing my 2010 tail off in Georgia where is Al Gore?

Estrella McKinney   January 7th, 2010 11:14 am ET

Hi, I know this is the wrong place but i don't know where to post it

I just saw the news on Memphis Tennessee where people don't have electricity because they don't have jobs. Can you please tell them about Craigslist there are several jobs in Tennessee please give this information to them. I really can't believe that they can't afford electricity we have to do something for them

sue   January 9th, 2010 10:36 am ET

Where is Robin?

Ernie Canelli III   January 12th, 2010 8:30 am ET

C'mon. Let's be honest. The problem with steroids in sports is the fans and the owners. Fans demand super human performance and owners want dollars from strong team popularity to market for advertising and "air" time. If the athletes do not excel, they do not succeed and keep playing. Did you see how fast the fans turned on the Patriots last Sunday? Give the players a break, they are victims of owner demands!

Kevin (KC) Sillin   January 16th, 2010 6:50 pm ET

I'm sorry, if I got the wrong place for opinions, but as far as police not wanting their arrests to be recorded...I've seen several arrests where the cops at the scene violated the victims constitutional rights!!!
Respectfully
KC

Mark McGwire should NOT get a standing Ovation ….What is wrong with people???????????? A S.O. is to praise someone for the GOOD JOB they do ….He certainly does not deserve that …You don’t praise and reward the people for their wrong doings, They should be punished instead. Let’s not make the wrong people, for our younger ones, to look up to.

I am a self eymployed builder living in Upper Michigan with no health care. I had a heart attack three years ago and now trying to pay that dept and live to. Health care reform is very important to me and should be to our health care system in the U.S.

Lonnie   January 22nd, 2010 8:19 pm ET

kenneth winecoff   January 27th, 2010 8:50 am ET

obama talking abot cut backs why does hiswife who has no job need 22 assitance to help raise there childred

Phillip Shinn   January 27th, 2010 10:20 am ET

You wanted comments about Obamas upcoming speech and topics that I/we think he should address.
How about his presidential "exit"strategy., He is looking more and more like a one terrm president. The economy is in the toilet, banks are again teetering ,unemployement is at historical high's without even the hint of a rebound from the recession on the horizon

I'm happy to report that I have been successful in changing channels every time before that screaming commercial with the volume purposely turned up for the Robin Meade show.

Terry Wyatt   January 29th, 2010 5:26 pm ET

As a 'Nam vet, I am so proud of our troops (all volunteers) and the fantastic job they are doing. It's a far cry from being spit on when returning from the bush. I also hold my head high when I see what we are doing for Haiti. In some cases, people have learned a little respect for our military.

JOHN   February 3rd, 2010 10:34 am ET

I would like to talk about gays in the military. Of course there are some in the military now I understand that . How come no one has asked the military Soldiers, Marines, Sailors and Airmen how they feel? I am currently in the military and to know that you are fighting a war and might have a gay person next you would be bad for morale, cohesion and teamwork. I don't like gays not one bet and I do not want to see what might happen if and when this takes effect. I can not wait to retire!!!!!!

Edward Mays   February 11th, 2010 9:30 am ET

Good morning Robin and crew. The ongoing saga of Tiger Woods and Jaimee Grubb reminds me of rge song Lucretia McEvil by Blood, Sweat, and Tears. A fitting theme song.

Thank you for your time.

Best regards,

Ed Mays

Robin Meade, I sat on a plane for 4 hrs. next to an over sized male who weighed at least 300 lbs. His fat & skin hung over on my body & the folds of his skin were smelly & musty. He acted if nothing was wrong taking up both our seats. I believe the airlines should chrg. double for one taking up more than one seat & unless they have larger seats they should put some in the back of the plane reserved for this condition. I love you & your show & watch it faithfully ea. day. I miss when you are on assignment or off. Keep up your wonderful smile, great reporting, & staff. Jean E.

Darlene   February 17th, 2010 9:48 am ET

I would like to know if the students have the rights to say things about their teachers online do the teachers have the rights to go on facebook and write about their stupidest students, criminal records of students also can the teacher sue the student for slander?

If, the student is too young to be held accountable for their behavior then perhaps they need limits.

william ingalls   February 18th, 2010 9:17 am ET

I wish you would leave tiger alone. The msdia has proven they cannot let anything go. He was wrong everybody knows that. report it then drop it. You should start thanking the vets that gave their lives and time that served in veitnam. report and then ket it go. Please pass this on to robin. I watch her every moring from 6 to 730

Michael R. Stacio   February 18th, 2010 10:05 am ET

Why all this attention be paid to Woods, his wife is getting what she deserves. Our attention should be given to the young men figthting in the Middle East.

Cindy   February 18th, 2010 1:44 pm ET

I slute all the troops, to the troops a salute.

Richard Reimer   February 19th, 2010 12:32 pm ET

Tiger Woods gets nothing from me. He is all about greed and what is wrong with this country. He is a phony now and as far as I am concerned he has always been. He read from a carfully prepared statement that meant nothing to him. If he does not want his family involved thaen stay out of the public, it is your choice to be there and you can't stand to be away from the lime lights. People, he is a golfer not the second coming of Christ. We cherish our "celebrities" way too much, let's get over it. There are too many people that are suffering in this country and world to worry about what Brad Pitt, George Clooney, Tom Cruise, Angelina Jolie, and the list goes on and on has said or been or done. Are they helping you pay your overdue mortgage? Do you actually think that htey even care? If you do then you need help!

Susan Blake   March 2nd, 2010 8:09 am ET

Tiger Trax? If you live an honest & good life, what ever you have to say, email , test or what ever, you would have no need for an app like tiger Trax. And re Tiger Beat? Well, he's good at golf, but not a good & moral person, is he? So, be good people, duh
