This is the stuff I want to tell my grandkids about

A new poll shows Romney up front in Iowa.
A new poll shows Romney up front in Iowa.

Just wanted to update you all on my son,s status, here are a couple of pics as well as a letter that was just written to me

It states as follows:

"Mom I am well do not worry about me, I love my friends here and I love my missions which I finally started. I am very proud to be doing what Im doing. Sorry I have not got a chance to write, things have been crazy here. I'm a 50 cal gunner and a driver now.

When you roll out on a convoy all the other soldiers and marines look at you like you are some kind of HERO. 90% of the people on the post will never even go out of the front gate like I do on a DAILY basis. I miss my home, I miss my family and my dogs, Arizona in general and yes, I miss my wife. This place is not that bad, time is going by fast. This is the stuff I want to tell my grandkids about, disgruntled old veteran suits me just fine. Thank you for sending packages, I really could use some more wet wipes and I loved those white grape juice drinks.

Love,
Cory
(Camp Leatherneck)"

Dear CNN
why not a word about the disgraceful behavior of our president at his news conference yesterday?
My jaw dropped when I saw him come on the stage laughing and joking with his native Indian supporters and congratulating everyone; only after all that did he remember why he was appearing and that was to talk about the killings at Fort Hood.
You could see he didn't care a bit about the tragedy and where his priorities really are. This was shameful.

Sincerely

A real American Patriot who does care

STOP SUPPORTING WAR AND GLORIFYING KILLING

This should be a lesson to the USA about the pain we cause other countries.

The incident at Fort Hood made my stomach churn and my blood boil.
I am not surprised however that the coward and criminal perpetrator was conflicted to say the least. We as Americans must ask ourselves if we were born in Syria, Iraq, Iran or any Islamic country to Christian parents with traditional Christian values would we not hesitate to war against a country which was primarily Christian? We did not send Japanese to Japan to war against the country of their ancestors...where in heaven is our common sense? Thank you to CNN for having Dr. M. Zuhdi Jasser on this morning to lend insight and wisdom to calm the initial impulse of rage many must feel. I only wish you would give this man more airtime in support of moderate Muslims who love America and want to help change the radical outlook at the root with their own children within their own community. If we do not allow for that the extremists will have won. Having said that I also do not believe the extremists should be allowed to incite riots under the protection of the 1st amendment as we have recently witnessed in New York. Such a slippery slope indeed. God help us.
