Salute to a 19-year-old medic

Kameron Hernandez, center, and his fellow soldiers.

Kameron Hernandez is a 19-year-old medic airborne soldier with the 82nd Airborne stationed in Baghdad. He is my Boss's son and a good friend of mine.

I wanted to take the time to salute him and his bravery and extend a warm thank you for the immense courage he executes in his duties. Hats off to you Kam – you are our hero and you are in our hearts.

Once again the media, taking up for the police(right or wrong, this time wrong), This is what black men have to deal with all the time. if you are in your home, you better keep id on you at all times, don't get in the shower. For once media please report the truth about police and anyone, who unlawfully tries to abuse their power, that was wrong no matter what he did, HE WAS IN HIS HOUSE. The policeman is not going to say he made a mistake, to a blackman, come on. It takes a man to realized he made a mistake. Thank you Mr. President for commenting on this story and siding with truth.

Why isnt anyone covering the national level exercise planned for next week? i have no other way to ask this question but by commenting on this blog. no disrespect intended to the post. im just trying to find out why the media isnt covering an event that could possibly cause civil unrest around the nation. this is e\an even more important issue now that FEMA is being accused of poisining people with chemicals. i hope this reaches some one.

Unlike other well known sports figures, Michael Vick stood up like a man, admitted his guilt and took his punishment. Now let him go back to work because that IS his job. It's what he does.
