Beware of Advanced Technologies Service!!! Facing layoffs at CAT in Mossville, IL 4 of us ATS employees where transfered to Pace at Harrison, AR. We where promised a secure job, plenty of OT, and where made to sign an 18 month contract to work there. We found out the day we arrived, that the plant was facing layoffs, and shutdowns! We do not qualify for unemployment benefits in AR as we have not lived there 6 months, and no longer live in IL so lost those too! As we arrived, and found out the truth, we called to those still coming to warn them, and they where still being lied to that everything was good! ATS is unethical in just the fact that we where moved in May and June, with 118 month contracts, when ATS contract with Pace expires in November!!! BEWARE ALL!!!

I'm leaving this here because i don't see where else to comment on Jennifer Westhoven's innane commentary this morning on the federal deficit. first, it is incorrect to say our children will have to pay this back: it is not a 30 year mortgage that comes due - nearly all western economies carry accumulated deficits indefinitely. second, it is inappropriate to blame the stimulus: this started under republicans, accelerated with the Iraq war, worsened in recession and the stimulus is only the latest contributor. also remember nothing is more expensive than a deflationary spiral, which this is meant to prevent.
I have an idea: why don't you guys just report the news rather than adding idiotic commentary, or at least balance it with qualified opinion. If I wanted Fox news, I'd have gone there, which is actually a refreshing idea.

Hi Baby Gwen,
You are adorable, and quite intelligent at your young age. I have a new grandson who is just about the same age as you. The two of you seem to have a lot in common. Maybe someday the two of you will meet. I hope your Mommy & Daddy are getting enough rest so that they can take good care of you. I don't understand why your Mommy and Daddy are forbidden from their car.

The one called "A-Rod" gives me gas, too. But keep watching because you're going to see the Red Sox win the World Series in your first year of life! It took me 57 years to see that.

And by the way - you're one heck of a writer for your age.

Have a nice weekend, too and say hi to your Daddy for me.

Baby Gwen is delightful, enjoy her she will grow tooooooo fast! Also, saw a streaming comment on the bottom of screen about a "man dies in chcolate factory" no other info. Sounds like the perfect place to die to me especially in the dark chocolate production line! Now that's a good flavor for formula for Gwen!!

Rah for the support of Chron's disease program. Our granddaughter and many other young people are suffering. I just saw the comments on the doughnut shop and it would be swell if they could add a doughnut made with recommended foods for Chrons sufferes....like soy milk, rice flour, etc.

i hope you all have a good weekend too. But this is concerning the economy. I think it good for the one the money is helping, but it won't last long because the little people is still not spending. You have to start at the bottom and it will come up. I need a vehicle, but can't go buy one because I have no job. I will buy one as soon as I get a job and fill secure. think about it, if you are doing a job you can't start in the middle. You have to start at the beginning.
