My heart is heavy with sadness. It hurts to know that we will never get to hear a new song or watch a new video. Whatever the circumstances, whatever the cause, there is one thing that resonates amongst us all…Michael is in a better place, a place he so desperately wanted and wished for, a place where his beautiful, young face will remain just that, beautiful and young. We will all grow old, we will all watch as life passes us by and we will always see his ageless face staring back from the magazine pages that we are clinging to now. He will remain youthful and innocent forever, something that we all try to accomplish, but fail. Some may call it Heaven, some say it’s amongst the stars, some say it doesn’t exist at all, but there is a place we all dream of. It’s a place full of peace and love, hope and strength, where anything can happen. To Michael it was Neverland and we shouldn’t doubt for a second that he is indeed seated there, on the highest cloud, protecting all who he cherished so deeply.

Any human with a soul cannot look at him the same after watching his daughter’s bravery, speaking about her “Daddy.” She cast a new light upon her father’s memory. Far too many people are overlooking that he was a father, clearly raising his children as proper and shielding them from the world that so badly hurt him. In the end we must think, How would we feel? The pain, I can only imagine. The emptiness, I hope I never feel. Three beautiful children are carrying the weight of the world on their shoulders. The grieving they will endure is unfathomable. We need to give them peace, leave them alone, let them grow and allow them to decide how their father should be remembered. To have the strength to stand in front of millions just to say he was the best father, that is admirable. Though I believe her words came from the deepest place in her heart, I also believe that she began a legacy in that moment and she knew it. It’s a legacy that will not stand for manipulation of her father’s character, that is not afraid to say, Stop, when it’s too much. Sadly though, he may have raised his children that way because he knew the dangerous risk of having too open of a heart, not being able to say, No. And it leaves us to wonder, Maybe if he just worried about himself and not pleasing everyone else, would he still be here? That, we will never know…

My prayers are for his close family and friends, his sibling and his mother. My deepest prayers and sympathy are for his children. And I pray that maybe now his spirit will find that unearthly peace he deserves. His soul will live on in his children and their children. His music will live on in us, his fans. His feats will live on in history. His truth will rest upon enemies. His memories we will cherish forever. So many talk about a comeback, but for his fans, there was no need for one. For us, he never went away.

Rest in Peace, Michael Jackson, the King of Pop.

Hello,

Is anyone paying attention to Michael Jackson's father? He may have the same addiction problem his son allegedly had. His speech is slurry. You can hardly understand him. He looks out of it. I don't trust him!

Thanks. Susan

I am not sure why but no one seems to know much about how MJ's kids were raised if he was so addicted to prescription medications that would sedate him etc. Why hasn't there been more information from the longtime nanny, Grace? She was said to be the nanny from birth of Prince Michael and so why isn't there more information coming forth from her? Or was she one of the people that helped him get his drugs and administer them? I would like to know more about her and what she thinks was going in over the last several years.

I'm sorry for his passing...Maybe now the world will understand the disease of Lupus. I have lived with it for the last 34 years and no one has ever known the pain and suffering I have gone through. Not being able to be in the sun...wearing gloves in the summer...no sleep..I could go and on but i won't. I have not had a pain free day since 1976. At least now maybe the media will do more to make people aware of how hard it is living with daily health problems.
