Congradulations on your jump and your outstanding interview with
Pres. Bush 41.

Mary M   June 15th, 2009 10:38 am ET

Robin,
Hey you performed splendidly in both your interview and actual jump! You came out of the sky just as gracefully as we see you each morning on CNN. My only disappointment is I expected more tribute, (interview) towards the fine men who saw you safely to the ground, the Army's Golden Knights!

Marty   June 15th, 2009 11:49 am ET

Just wondering. I saw the Army parachutists, the Golden Knights, with Bush and Meade. Did the Army (and the US taxpayer) get stuck with the bill for this? I would hope that all the publicity over this jump is a boon for recruiting efforts and someone made a cost-benefit decision to "treat" the senior Bush.
Hey Robin, how about a story on the cost of ex-Presidents and a breakdown of how that money is spent?

Oh my gosh that looks soooo fun i hope that you had funn robin and i will see ya on the show tmrw hopefully

What a glamorous photo of Our Sunshine, Robin, as she walks with such dignity and poise as she gets ready for her first-ever skydive ! And what about those two guys accompanying Robin . . . how lucky can you get ? Robin, thank-you for sharing with us the surprise song that country star John Rich dedicated to President George H.W. Bush for his special 85th birthday !! So very thoughtful of Mr. Rich; President Bush was genuinely moved and touched by his act of sincerity after learning that the song had been written for Mr. Rich's grandfather (who had served in World War II as President Bush did) ! Have a great day, Robin ! We Love Ya, Ohio Girl . . . Robin's Follies !

Shirley   June 15th, 2009 7:49 pm ET

I thought the jump was great. I would have thought we would see more of your families thoughts instead of just Bush's.

Jon Phillip Boulton   June 15th, 2009 8:38 pm ET

Robin I just have to say you are the Greatest and thank you for being you!!! Jon Phillip Boulton-Paducah, Ky.

Congratulations on your interview with G.H.W. Bush and on your jump! It looked like Bush 41 (is that his new nickname?) was a delight to be around, and his cheerful spirit probably helped you relax before the big jump. The stories and follow-ups on Monday were entertaining as well. Great job, Robin!

The best part is, you now have five years to mentally prepare for your next jump!

As I sit here in Iraq, I see that my fellow, American citizens never learn. LEAVE Iran alone. Let the Iranian/Americans go home and fight their own battles if they choose to. I will defy any order to deploy to fight Iran; it is none of the US's business. We cannot continue policing the world. A conflict more than two thousand years old will not end with any US president. Politicians are good at lieing and starting wars; Obama no different. He is sending us to Afghanastan; yet the Clintons, Bushes, nor Obamas have sent any of their loved ones to fight. China holds the key to our treasury because we've borrowed nearly one trillion dollars to fight this fantasy war on terror. No one aided us during our civil affairs. American soldiers should not die in the name of Iran's democracy; let its citiuzens die for their own causes. I am ready to come home for good; end these dumb wars now!

Regaurding the story about the baseball bat, I think it is ridiculous that a court would give their attention, much less a settlement to such an obvious attempt to get rich. When a child plays ball, it is at their own risk. It is up to the parent to decide whether or not to let their child play. Why everyone knows sports are dangerous. This will open the door to anyone who gets hurt outside playing in their yard to sue. It's time for parents to use common sense instead of waiting to be told whether or not they should allow their child to play with a toy or somthing that might cause an injury.
I hope it does't seem like I am insensitive to the loss of the child. I just think it is time for people to get their head out of the clouds and use their brain a little.

Concerning the killings at Ft. Hood. Is this not a wake up call for the United States of America and especially Liberals; we cannot have it both ways:

You ask; should someone have seen the "signals" that the Major, a muslim, was in personal conflict.... but, if the Government would have censored him in any way you would have cried "racial profiling"

Why are you talking about Post Traumatic Stress, and finding excuses for what he did....He never saw combat, and was on the tax payers ride through out his entire career. He murdered 13 people in cold blood...He is not the victim!

When we will stop listening to the ACLU who are fighting agains wire taps, and other survelience techniques....These are proactive methods protect we need to protect innocent law abiding citizens who love our Country!

It is time to stand up for common sense!
