No wonder he wants to jump out of an airplane. I'd do it for a chance to be close to Robin.

Joan Oliver   June 12th, 2009 12:36 pm ET

I had never flown before last year, the year I turned 50. Had always promised myself I'd skydive, and I took the plunge! It was absolutely the most awesome thing I've ever done! Loved it so much, I've gone twice. I still have never flown in a commercial plane, and have never landed in any plane. Skydiving is the thrill of a lifetime!

This is WAY to much coverage on the BUSH skydive!!! Enough is Enough! There is way much more interesting news going on the this world than an hour or more of this silly CHIT CHAT!
PLEASE, NO MORE!!!!!

Saw you and Big George's jump . I really impressed with both of you. Great job I have never had so much fun watching the news. Thank you so very much.

I missed it! Stupid job! Hopefully I getr to see a replay. Glad to hear you made it!

Way to go ROBIN!!!!!! You’re an inspiration to women, As Mrs. Bush said "you came in as a lady." and I say "as the lady you are."

I admire Fmr. President Bush seventh jump, it affirms that age is only a number.

psssst...
Robin, Mr. Bush....if you need a partner next time you jump, I'M IN! LOL

Tina   June 12th, 2009 5:03 pm ET

I think it is great that HNL spent "one hour or more on this silly CHIT CHAT".... covering something as inspirational and fun as yours and Pres Bush's jump. There are 23 hours left in the day to cover all the other depressing news. I am so proud of you, Robin, and Pres Bush...what an inspiration!

Congratulations and welcome to the family!

Skydivers are a special breed, as I know you've found out. You and President Bush were the perfect students - all smiles and doing your part!

Thanks for sharing the positive side of skydiving with others.

Live life to its fullest - Great coverage - You're the best!

What is the name of the person you did the tandem jump with Robin?

Jack Miao   June 13th, 2009 7:34 am ET

Robin, I watch you all the time. You outdid yourself again by trying skydiving. At least you have the courage to try new things.

Want to try some "exotic" Chinese food? I can share some very healthy but different types of food for you to try. You can then give your comments on the morning show.

Steve S   June 13th, 2009 9:39 am ET

This is just one more reason that I admire Robin. The way she presents the news is unique and the best! I watch HLN as much as I can and having Robin present the news is simply frosting on the cake. I have been a commercial pilot for a major airline for 25 years and I have NO intention of jumping out of a perfectly good airplane. WAY TO GO, ROBIN! Keep up the good work. I hope HLN knows how valuable Robin is to them!

Congratulations to our favorite sunshine girl, Robin, on her much anticipated jump with President George H.W. Bush ! Not only did President Bush make his memorable 85th birthday jump, but he made it with our beautiful Robin ! We are a New Orleans family who are Hurricane Katrina victims and survivors: we lost everything we ever owned (and even family members) ! By watching you, Robin, daily on Morning Express, we derive a sense of strength and salvation by your glowing smile and heartfelt, kindhearted words ! We look sooo forward to seeing you early Monday morning, as you describe the excitement you felt as you made your jump; we hope your feet are back on the ground (literally) ! (LOL !!! ) Thanks very much to your weather guy, Bobby, for the good weather that allowed it to happen on Friday–he was very concerned for you and the jump ! Take care ! We Love Ya, Ohio Girl . . . Robin's Follies !!!

Congrats on your first jump Robin. To think you jumped out of a perfectly good aircraft, landed safely on the ground, then got "pecked" by President Bush (41)),, Honey, it don't get any better than that!

Ellen   June 14th, 2009 11:38 am ET

How awesome for you Robin! You did great. I enjoyed your interview with Pres. Bush too. Thanks for letting all of us go along on the ride with you!

Robin Meade looked like she had a really good time jumpin out of that airplane, and that was her first time. She is brave. I'm surprise how calm she looked. :)
