Looks like renters are going to have to run a credit check on the home owner just to make sure their not in default. To move in to a house,apartment even a room in the home owners own house costs first month rent, last month rent and a deposit. That could be as much as 3000.00 .I have seen on TV so many renters being put out because of the owners. Now here's the question can we(being the renters) make the home owners pay for the credit check like they(being the home owner) make the renter do before we are excepted as their renter ? get ahead, that imposible ive got bills stacked up, debt people calling all the time and then on top of it all the economy is so bad that employers are cuting hrs. if you have kids what are you to do let your kid go hungry because of greed from the goverment, thats where this all started,greed. you cant get help because if you are working and trying to make it , you are cosidered to make to much money. what is that lets have more babies and get help from the goverment that way. because the way i see it is you got to quit your job to get help and thats just crazy, why are we just letting people sit on there butts this is been going on for yrs and now look where we are, in a complete disaster i have never seen such a thing lets fix that problem too. help people who are working and trying to make not just the ones who dont want to work because they are to lazy. god help us all. jenny

Please do a story on cash call. while the loan company helps many people who are in dire straits, they hide a monster in the midst of their loan policies and company staff operations. i initially borrowed $2k in 2004. since that time i have paid the company $7k to pay off the loan.
i now owe less than $400 dollars and have hit a difficult financial wall due to a major change in my financial income. I called Cash-call to explain my situation with a promise of a payment on a very near future date in which I would be receiving a paycheck from my new part time job. The representative acted out in a very demeaning mode. She asked me if I couldn't pay them on time, how was I paying my other bills and debts. She was practically demanding a detailed list of my debts and asking me to explain why and how it is I can pay my rent, electric and gas, food and etc and not pay them at the same time. I responded my earnest effort in paying off the loan, by reminding her that I did step forward to accept my responsibility by telling her my situation and when I could make my payment within the next two weeks...etc. My biggest concern here is that I have not after all this time in paying off this loan received on single invoice or payment statement. Please do a story on CASH-CALL

I was layed off about 3 mo ago, I have a family of 5 I was forced to move from my home and am now living in what we'll call a tin shack for lack of better words. Every employer in the area is laying off. I owe back taxes of around 3thousand which grows every month by $60+ due to government charges/late fees, on top of that I can barley pay my bills and by food for the 4 other people in my family. I'm struggling to just keep my family alive. I fear whats in the future for my family and all Americans in my situation or worse.

Dear Robin;

I'm not sure where to put this, but if i won, I might need a money coach.
I am writing from Wyoming. I have found one of the McDonald's 100,000 dollar game pieces. I do not have the money to advertise, but would split the money if someone found "Gold Ave" I have "Arches Ave". Would you please let the US know this? In this economy, I could probably save my house and help who ever had the other piece.
Sincerely;
Michele in Wyoming

I have a few credit cards (actually 6). That I haven't been able to pay on for the last (2) months. One company says they will work w/ me. they will reduce my monthy payment. And also reduce my APR for (12) months
Should I trust this deal. Or are they setting me up for more trouble down the road!

Clark Howard advises buying local currencies from ATMs and against buying foriegn currency before leaving the U. S. Does this include not buying currency through my local bank? A group of us are going to Honduras next year, we will go direct from the Tegucilgapa airport into a rural, non tourist area. If there are ATMs, I doubt they can convert our group's US $6,000 to $8,000 into Lempiras.

I loaned a so called vice president of a mortgage of a local mortgage ripe company some money.I knew better, But he was about to loose three homes.One he was living in and to that he was constructing to sale. I have a Promissary note to pay a mere 200.00 a month plus intrest for 96 months.He has paid two months and is behind 5months.The house that I have the note on is valued at 200,000.I want my money now that he has showed that he is not keeping with the note as we agreeded.If it means taking his house and auctioning it or what ever.Please give me some sugguestive ways of getting my money back.I would even like to see this MORTGAGE company baned from the state of Alabama.And here he is holding folkes to astandard and late fees and other charges and he can't keep his.
Thank you,for even allowing me to vent a little
